Aspenwood Agent for Additional $8 million Financings in 2nd Half 2009

DENVER, Colo., Dec. 18, 2009 - Aspenwood Capital (www.AspenwoodCapital.com), a Denver-based investment banking group, announced that it has acted as placement agent for approximately $8 million in financings for private and public companies during the second half of 2009. Aspenwood acted as the lead agent in approximately $5.5 million of the financings (primarily for LifeVantage Corporation and FuwaySun Technology Co) and participated as a sub-agent for a $2.5 million financing led by Bathgate Capital (Adcare Health Systems, Inc).

Aspenwood also announced that it has recently engaged three companies – one public and two private – for a total of up to $14 million in potential financings expected to be completed in Q1 2010. “Given the economic climate and general tightness of capital over the last 18 months, we are pleased with the closings to date and are well-situated for a good start to 2010”, said Chris Wrolstad, Partner.
